A FontStruct alternative for fonts you describe instead of build

FontStruct is a free font editor where you build letters from geometric shapes on a grid. FontGenerator starts from a description, a reference image or your handwriting and draws the whole font for you, then lets you refine it. They suit different jobs.

Questions

Do I need design skills to make a font?
Not with FontGenerator: a description or an image is enough to start, and you test the result in your own words before downloading. FontStruct rewards patience with its grid editor rather than drawing skill.
Can I edit an AI-made font?
Yes. In Studio you can change spacing, replace a letter with your own drawing, ask AI to redraw one, or add a weight and languages.
