Its x-height is 75.6% of the cap height, near the 76.2% typical of display fonts in the library, lower than 51 of the 97 other display fonts. Ascenders on b, d, h, k and l rise 7.7% above the capitals, and descenders on g, j, p, q and y drop 16% of the cap height below the baseline, shallower than 87 of the 97 other display fonts. It sets narrow: an average lowercase letter, spacing included, is 84.7% as wide as the capitals are tall (an average capital, 90.7%), 5.3% less than the median for display fonts, so more words fit on a line. The o is close to a circle, 1.07 times as wide as it is tall, and no capital is wider than H. The O stops 14% of the cap height short of H and dips 1.1% below the baseline.

The letters stand upright, with no measurable slant. Vertical stems measure 34.8% of the cap height, heavier than 40 of the 43 other display fonts. Ink covers 56.9% of each lowercase letter's box (its advance width by the cap height), darker than 92 of the 97 other display fonts. Strokes keep nearly one thickness in every direction: the sides and the tops of o and O differ by 12%.

Its 148 characters include 105 Latin letters, plus 43 figures, punctuation marks and symbols; 53 of the Latin letters are accented or special forms beyond A to Z. The word space measures 45.9% of the cap height, and the blank space either side of a lowercase letter takes up 11.8% of its width. The font carries no kerning, so spacing comes from each letter’s own side bearings. The figures have different widths, so columns of numbers set in Bubble Heart Sprinkle will not line up exactly.
