How to test a font before you use it
Type the words you will actually set: a brand name, a headline, a menu. A pangram shows every letter, but real words show how the letters sit next to each other, which is where spacing problems appear.
Check the font at the size you plan to use. Body text needs open shapes and even spacing at 16 to 20 pixels, while a display font only has to work large. Change the line height and letter spacing to see how much room the font needs.
Font files you add are read by your browser and never uploaded. They are available only in this tab and are gone when you close it.

- Which font files can I test?
- TTF, OTF, WOFF and WOFF2 files up to 10 MB each. Your browser reads them directly, so any single font your browser can display will work. Font collections (.ttc) are not supported.
- Are my font files uploaded?
- No. The files are read in your browser and never sent to our servers. Reload the page and they are gone.
- Why do some characters look different from the rest?
- When a font has no glyph for a character, your browser draws that character with a fallback font. It usually means the font does not cover that language or symbol.
- Can I download the library fonts I test here?
- Click a font name to open its page, where you can try more styles and see the download options. Files you add yourself stay on your computer.
