Ascenders on b, d, h, k and l line up with the capitals (100% of their height), and descenders on g, j, p, q and y drop 30.4% of the cap height below the baseline, deeper than 12 of the 16 other sans serif fonts. It sets wide: an average lowercase letter, spacing included, is 116% as wide as the capitals are tall (an average capital, 116.7%), 19.5% more than the median for sans serif fonts, so the same words take a longer line. The o is wider than it is tall, 1.19 to 1, and M and W are the widest capitals, at 1.12 times the width of H. The O stops 4.5% of the cap height short of H and stands 4.5% above the baseline.

The letters stand upright, with no measurable slant. Vertical stems measure 8.9% of the cap height, lighter than 8 of the 16 other sans serif fonts.
