Pinhole Bounce Bubble Letterforms
Dreamslug Grotesk packs thick, softly uneven strokes around small openings, making the letters feel inflated and slightly wobbly. The O has a tall oval outline with a tiny upright counter, while the E curls its short arms around narrow, rounded openings. The R combines a small high counter with a heavy leg that bends outward into a soft foot. Rounded terminals and deep joins keep the silhouettes fluid, with little straight geometry interrupting the surface. Across the uppercase sample, the narrow bodies and gently shifting contours give short phrases a friendly, cushioned bounce.
Test the font in your wording
Inspect O, D and R for closing counters, and E and W for crowded openings in your actual wording. Check word spaces alongside repeated rounded letters. These specimens show Latin capitals; preview lowercase, accents and any other scripts separately before relying on their appearance.
Font pairing roles
Use this face for a short heading or product name. Try a restrained sans serif for supporting text, with larger counters and more regular contours to contrast its tiny openings and swollen strokes. Verify the combination in your actual layout.

Bubble Cloud Lobed gives the same uppercase phrase scalloped outer edges, with repeated bumps along stems and bowls. Its O counters also have lobed boundaries, carrying that cloudlike texture through both the outside and inside of the letters.

How this page was made. Dreamslug Grotesk is a FontGenerator library font made with AI; before release its letters were read back one by one by independent automated checks. The design notes were written by AI from the specimen images and checked against them by a second, independent pass; font measurements come from the font file. About
About Dreamslug Grotesk
The x-height is a compact 67.5% of the cap height, below the 74.4% median for display fonts, lower than 107 of the 116 other display fonts. Ascenders on b, d, h, k and l line up with the capitals (99.2% of their height), and descenders on g, j, p, q and y drop 28% of the cap height below the baseline, deeper than 94 of the 116 other display fonts. It sets narrow: an average lowercase letter, spacing included, is 62.7% as wide as the capitals are tall (an average capital, 74.1%), 28% less than the median for display fonts, so more words fit on a line. The o is an upright oval, 0.77 times as wide as it is tall, and M is the widest capital, at 1.30 times the width of H. The O stops 0.4% of the cap height short of H and dips 1.8% below the baseline.
The letters stand upright, leaning less than 2.5° either way. Vertical stems measure 28.3% of the cap height, heavier than 43 of the 58 other display fonts. Ink covers 49.3% of each lowercase letter's box (its advance width by the cap height), darker than 92 of the 116 other display fonts. The contrast is reversed: the tops and bottoms of o and O are 1.3 times as thick as their sides.
Its 345 characters include 245 Latin letters, plus 100 figures, punctuation marks and symbols; 193 of the Latin letters are accented or special forms beyond A to Z. The word space measures 28.5% of the cap height, and the blank space either side of a lowercase letter takes up 15% of its width. Spacing is adjusted with 10,920 kerning pairs, the most of all 117 display fonts. The tightest of them is Ty, which closes up by 22.3% of the cap height. The figures have different widths, so columns of numbers set in Dreamslug Grotesk will not line up exactly.
Measured from the version 0.1.0 font file. Comparisons are with the 376 published library fonts measured on November 8, 2026, 117 of them display fonts.
