Chamfered Counter Monoline Letterforms
Geo Hex Grotesk gives familiar capitals a spare, angular rhythm. The O forms a hexagonal ring with flat top and bottom edges, while the D keeps a straight left stem and clips the corners on its right side. The W drops into paired pointed valleys beneath upright outer stems, making it especially distinctive within a word. Even strokes link these shapes to the plain bars of H and E. Generous gaps around the letters keep the line airy, and the combination of open space and abrupt turns gives short wording a restrained, technical mood.
Test the font in your wording
Inspect O beside D, the R leg and repeated W shapes in your actual Latin wording. Check whether the airy spacing keeps words connected. Preview Greek text separately, since the supplied specimens show Latin capitals rather than Greek letterforms.
Font pairing roles
Try this font for short headings or technical labels, with a text face using softer curves and more compact spacing for supporting copy. Its angular bowls and spacious rhythm would give the heading a distinct role beside denser explanatory text.

How this page was made. Geo Hex Grotesk is a FontGenerator library font made with AI; before release its letters were read back one by one by independent automated checks. The design notes were written by AI from the specimen images and checked against them by a second, independent pass; font measurements come from the font file. About
About Geo Hex Grotesk
Geo Hex Grotesk's lowercase x reaches 69.8% of the capital height, close to the 71.4% median for sans serif fonts, lower than 24 of the 34 other sans serif fonts. Ascenders on b, d, h, k and l line up with the capitals (100% of their height), and descenders on g, j, p, q and y drop 30.2% of the cap height below the baseline, deeper than 25 of the 34 other sans serif fonts. Geo Hex Grotesk runs 41.6% wider than the median for sans serif fonts: an average lowercase letter, spacing included, is 110.9% as wide as the capitals are tall (an average capital, 111.6%). The o is close to a circle, 1.13 times as wide as it is tall, and M and W are the widest capitals, at 1.12 times the width of H. The O stops 4.7% of the cap height short of H and stands 4.7% above the baseline.
The letters stand upright, leaning less than 2.5° either way. Vertical stems measure 9.5% of the cap height, lighter than 17 of the 28 other sans serif fonts. Ink covers 18.1% of each lowercase letter's box (its advance width by the cap height), lighter than 27 of the 34 other sans serif fonts. Strokes keep one thickness in every direction: the sides of o and O measure the same as their tops and bottoms.
Its 228 characters include 116 Latin and 69 Greek letters, plus 43 figures, punctuation marks and symbols; 64 of the Latin letters are accented or special forms beyond A to Z. The word space measures 54% of the cap height, and the blank space either side of a lowercase letter takes up 34.6% of its width. The font carries no kerning, so spacing comes from each letter’s own side bearings. All ten figures share one width, so columns of numbers line up.
Measured from the version 0.3.2 font file. Comparisons are with the 376 published library fonts measured on November 8, 2026, 35 of them sans serif fonts.
