Design
Radial Junction Sans up close
Radial Junction Sans uses a solid, even line with rounded ends and nearly circular bowls. The lowercase e is its clearest signature: a pointed cross stroke pushes past the right edge of the bowl. The capital F has a top arm that lifts at its free end, adding a small flick to an otherwise orderly shape. The Q carries a short diagonal tail out of its round bowl. Upright stems and restrained spacing make words easy to scan, while these unusual details give the letters a precise, lightly playful feel.

How this page was made. Radial Junction Sans is a FontGenerator library font made with AI; before release its letters were read back one by one by independent automated checks. The design notes were written by AI from the specimen images and checked against them by a second, independent pass; every number on the page is measured from the font file.

About
About Radial Junction Sans
The x-height is a compact 70.8% of the cap height, below the 74.3% median for display fonts, lower than 87 of the 117 other display fonts. Ascenders on b, d, h, k and l line up with the capitals (97.8% of their height), and descenders on g, j, p, q and y drop 24.7% of the cap height below the baseline, deeper than 70 of the 117 other display fonts. It sets narrow: an average lowercase letter, spacing included, is 76.7% as wide as the capitals are tall (an average capital, 88.6%), 11.9% less than the median for display fonts, so more words fit on a line. The o is close to a circle, 1.07 times as wide as it is tall, and W is the widest capital, at 1.28 times the width of H. The O stops 4.4% of the cap height short of H and dips 1.2% below the baseline.
The letters stand upright, leaning less than 2.5° either way. Vertical stems measure 11.9% of the cap height, lighter than 57 of the 59 other display fonts. Ink covers 30% of each lowercase letter's box (its advance width by the cap height), lighter than 94 of the 117 other display fonts. Strokes keep one thickness in every direction: the sides of o and O measure the same as their tops and bottoms.
Its 320 characters include 277 Latin letters, plus 43 figures, punctuation marks and symbols; 225 of the Latin letters are accented or special forms beyond A to Z. The word space measures 33.7% of the cap height, and the blank space either side of a lowercase letter takes up 14.3% of its width. Spacing is adjusted with 107 kerning pairs, more than 83 of the 117 other display fonts. The tightest of them is LY, which closes up by 22.4% of the cap height. The figures have different widths, so columns of numbers set in Radial Junction Sans will not line up exactly.
Measured from the version 0.1.1 font file. Comparisons are with the 377 published library fonts measured on October 21, 2026, 118 of them display fonts.
