With an x-height of 77.9% of the cap height, its lowercase stands above the 73.6% median for handwriting fonts, taller than 34 of the 41 other handwriting fonts. Ascenders on b, d, h, k and l rise 5.4% above the capitals, and descenders on g, j, p, q and y drop 19.2% of the cap height below the baseline, shallower than 38 of the 41 other handwriting fonts. It sets wide: an average lowercase letter, spacing included, is 81.2% as wide as the capitals are tall (an average capital, 91.5%), 10.3% more than the median for handwriting fonts, so the same words take a longer line. The o is close to a circle, 1.14 times as wide as it is tall, and W is the widest capital, at 1.37 times the width of H. The O stops 1% of the cap height short of H and stands 1.1% above the baseline.

The letters stand upright, with no measurable slant. Vertical stems measure 12.4% of the cap height, lighter than 14 of the 23 other handwriting fonts. Ink covers 31.3% of each lowercase letter's box (its advance width by the cap height), lighter than 30 of the 41 other handwriting fonts. Strokes keep one thickness in every direction: the sides of o and O measure the same as their tops and bottoms.

Its 148 characters include 105 Latin letters, plus 43 figures, punctuation marks and symbols; 53 of the Latin letters are accented or special forms beyond A to Z. The word space measures 34.3% of the cap height, and the blank space either side of a lowercase letter takes up 10.3% of its width. Spacing is adjusted with 100 kerning pairs, more than 24 of the 41 other handwriting fonts. The tightest of them is TA, which closes up by 23.3% of the cap height. The figures have different widths, so columns of numbers set in Crayon Print will not line up exactly.
