Design
Tickle Print up close
Tickle Print gives block capitals a loose, jaunty rhythm. The O is nearly circular and sits slightly taller than the H, while the W makes sharp dips between long, lightly wavering strokes. The R has a compact bowl and a diagonal leg that kicks away from its stem; the E's bars meet the stem at slightly different angles. Strokes keep much the same weight through curves and corners, then end in soft, blunt tips. Broad letters and generous gaps let short words breathe, while small shifts in angle and alignment give a line its playful character.

GOOD TIMES
Poster. Broad spacing and buoyant capitals make a cheerful event title easy to spot across a poster. OOPS!
Sticker. Rounded stroke ends and slightly wandering angles give a small sticker a friendly, spontaneous voice. HELLO THERE
Card or invitation. The circular O and open spacing keep a casual greeting light and legible on a card.

How this page was made. Tickle Print is a FontGenerator library font made with AI; before release its letters were read back one by one by independent automated checks. The design notes were written by AI from the specimen images and checked against them by a second, independent pass; every number on the page is measured from the font file.

About
About Tickle Print
With an x-height of 80.6% of the cap height, its lowercase stands above the 73.2% median for handwriting fonts, the tallest of all 31 handwriting fonts. Ascenders on b, d, h, k and l rise 7.6% above the capitals, and descenders on g, j, p, q and y drop 21.9% of the cap height below the baseline, shallower than 25 of the 30 other handwriting fonts. It sets wide: an average lowercase letter, spacing included, is 82.4% as wide as the capitals are tall (an average capital, 92.8%), 12.9% more than the median for handwriting fonts, so the same words take a longer line. The o is close to a circle, 1.13 times as wide as it is tall, and W is the widest capital, at 1.38 times the width of H. The O rises 3% of the cap height above H and stands 3.6% above the baseline.
Vertical stems measure 12.6% of the cap height, lighter than 11 of the 19 other handwriting fonts. Ink covers 31.9% of each lowercase letter's box (its advance width by the cap height), lighter than 20 of the 30 other handwriting fonts. Strokes keep one thickness in every direction: the sides of o and O measure the same as their tops and bottoms.
Its 148 characters include 105 Latin letters, plus 43 figures, punctuation marks and symbols; 53 of the Latin letters are accented or special forms beyond A to Z. The word space measures 34.9% of the cap height, and the blank space either side of a lowercase letter takes up 10% of its width. Spacing is adjusted with 87 kerning pairs, fewer than 17 of the 30 other handwriting fonts. The tightest of them is LY, which closes up by 23.9% of the cap height. The figures have different widths, so columns of numbers set in Tickle Print will not line up exactly.
Tickle Print is drawn on the same letter structure as one other font in the library.
Measured from the version 0.1.1 font file. Comparisons are with the 377 published library fonts measured on October 14, 2026, 31 of them handwriting fonts.
