Can ChatGPT create fonts?
ChatGPT can help you describe a style or explore lettering ideas, but a usable font also needs a character set, spacing, font tables, compiled files, and checks. FontGenerator handles that production path and gives you files to test and download.
How do I make my own font?
Start with a description, a reference image, a handwriting sheet, or a font you have permission to edit. Choose the letters and Latin languages you need, generate the first version, test real words, then adjust individual glyphs in Studio before exporting.
Can I turn handwriting or an image into a font?
Yes. Upload a clear image, select the lettering that carries the style, and confirm the detected characters. A handwriting sheet keeps the letters you supplied and completes the required set. Review the compiled font in your own text before downloading it.
Which font files can I download?
FontGenerator prepares TTF, OTF, WOFF, and WOFF2 from the same checked version. TTF and OTF cover common desktop work, while WOFF and WOFF2 are for websites. Your plan and the font license determine which downloads are available.
Can I use a generated font commercially?
Fonts created under Pro and Studio include the commercial and redistribution rights stated on the current license page. Free downloads are for personal use and Free creations are public. Read the license beside each download before using a font in a client or product.
Which languages are supported?
FontGenerator supports 35 Latin-script language selections, including the characters needed by major Western and Central European languages. The coverage report shows exactly which letters are present. Generation currently focuses on Latin-script languages so every available choice follows the same coverage checks.
What happens if font generation fails?
Reserved credits return to your balance when the task fails. The result page explains whether to retry, change the input, or choose another starting point. A technical success that does not match your taste can be edited in Studio or generated again as a new task.
How is this different from fancy copy-and-paste text?
Fancy text tools swap normal characters for Unicode lookalikes that you paste into a profile or message. FontGenerator creates installable font files with glyphs, spacing, language coverage, and web formats. Use Fancy Text when you need styled text, and FontGenerator when you need a font.
